About Me...
In what seems to me like a previous lifetime, I was once a marketing person working in the high tech industry. However, following the loss of my son, in 1998, I went through a tremendous upheaval which led me to change my priorities as well as my career. I went back to school to study therapeutic counseling and since then have been on a journey of self discovery and integration.
Along the way, I met many wonderful and inspiring people who helped me reach into my innermost depths and to find not only the raw emotion of both pain and laughter, but also the capacity to live better, love stronger and to help others.
We each find the help that we need on our path. If you are reading my website, perhaps I can help you.
Other options might be support groups, medical doctors, alternative healing methods, another therapist, a good friend, or a self-help book. One of my helpers once said, "If your pants are falling off, then use a belt, suspenders, a safety pin or a piece of rope. Take all the help you can get."
Or as Hemingway aptly put it: "No man is an island..."
